Today is World Cancer Day 2020. You can find the official Position Statement of GliMR below.

The first World Cancer Day during the lifetime of GliMR marks the 20th anniversary of this international day of cancer awareness. GliMR and its participants full-heartedly support this day that is brought to life by the Union for International Cancer Control. We support the notion that it is through raising the public and political literacy and understanding around cancer, and brain tumours in particular, we reduce fear, increase understanding, dispel myths and misconceptions, and change behaviours and attitudes. You can find all about World Cancer Day 2020 on their website: https://www.worldcancerday.org/
