During the first Grant Period, nine researchers were awarded to perform a Short Term Scientific Mission. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only four of them were able to (partially) finalize their mission. In this first part, Golestan and Ruben explain more about the work they were able to perform.
Dr. Ruben E. Nechifor
Dr. Ruben E. Nechifor, affiliated at the International Institute for Advanced Studies of Psychotherapy and Applied Mental Health (Cluj-Napoca, Romania), visited the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford (UK) in March 2020.
During his stay, he initiated a close collaboration with the host institution to further develop the Quantiphyse toolbox. This freely available toolbox can be used for the analysis of dynamic susceptibility contrast (DSC) MRI images of glioma patients.
