Dr Paula Croal
Paula is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at The University of Nottingham.
With a background in neuroscience and physics, Paula’s research has focused on developing advanced methods for quantitative physiological imaging in disease, notably brain tumours and stroke, and bringing accessible software tools to the research community. She leads the development of the visualization and analysis tool Quantiphyse for clinical applications, including tumour imaging.
Recently recognised by The University of Nottingham’s Anne McLaren Fellowship as an ‘outstanding woman in STEM’, Paula will spend the next 3 years leading her own research program in Physiological MRI in brain tumours.
