Dr. Ruben Nechifor
With regret, Prof. Yelda Ozsunar is stepping down from the STSM coordinator position. We would like to thank Yelda for her time and the coordination of the STSM’s during the first grant period, and her expertise in the core leadership. Therefore, we welcome Dr. Ruben Nechifor to the Core Leadership as our new STSM coordinator.
Dr. Ruben E. Nechifor a researcher at The International Institute for the Advanced Studies of Psychotherapy and Applied Mental Health from Babeș-Bolyai University.
His background is in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroimaging and Medical Physics, and was a PostDoctoral Research Scientist at the University of New Brunswick, Canada and at the University of California Los Angeles – UCLA, USA.
The focus of his research includes MRI and Clinical MRI, brain tumor imaging, developing novel MRI biomarkers and improving MR image signature through pulse sequence development for MRI scanners. In addition, he is also interested in various fMRI/neuroscience research topics.
