Neurosurgeon at the North-Estonia Medical Centre in Tallinn, Estonia
“I am a person of a very clinical background, a medical doctor and specialised in neurosurgery. Treating tumours surgically and following patients up is a regular part of my job. Gliomas are a very hot topic in all the related spheres – both clinical and pre-clinical- , and is a topic of particular interest to me – possibilities to differentiate deep seated lesions without putting the patient at risk from surgery and anesthesia, potentially better follow up. All of that is also an important part of the emotional and psychological well-being of the patient and therefore I am extremely excited to be a part of this project, so full of young enthusiasts eager to find solutions!” – Dr Elli Paal
